Much has changed here at Engel's Nursery over the past few years. We have recently begun construction of our first greenhouse to further expand our product line and better serve you our customers. The first year's production will mainly be R&D on conifer plugs and oak liners as well as a few other things. Most of this product will go directly in to our transplant program for the next few years.

We have also began excavation on a recently acquired farm to begin preparing it for thefuture site of our can yard. We hope to soon be offering 1 and 2 galon conifer containers as well as 3 gallon oak liners.

In addition to these changes we have expanded our liner selection for the spring of 08. We have added some new varieties andhave more additions on the way for next year. We are also now offering a full line of 2-2 conifers for this fall/spring season.

However the big news around the farms is the retirement of Mary Engel from teaching for the last 30 years. Her future plans are to join the nursery as a part time employee, answering phones and working in the office as well as lending a hand were ever it's needed. We are happy to have her join the team and look forward to everyone meeting her at the upcoming trade shows.
